I bought this as my first vape machine after deciding to give up smoking. I knew I needed the 'feel' of smoking and the patches, tablets etc just wouldn't work for me. I was a pretty heavy smoker. When I smoked cigarettes I could smoke 20 to 30 and day and I then changed to roll ups due to price and could have smoked 15 to 20 roll ups a day too. I am now nearly 6 weeks off the cigarettes and I've only had 3 serious craves in that time. Vaping IMHO is the way to go of you want to give up easily and still feel like you are having a puff! I feel great and would have given up a long time ago had I known it would have been as easy! Back to the review: I did a lot of research on vaping and the different options and machines out there, I checked out reviews, blogs etc. I knew I didn't want a basic ecig or something that I would have replace later on. After a lot of searching I decided to go for the Innokin Sceptre. It hit the right note. Simple to use, mid range price, ability to change from mouth to lung and direct to lung. Decent battery life. Build quality seemed decent. As a woman I did want something that looked good too! Call me shallow but if it is something that will be used as much as I thought it may as well look good too! The Innokin Sceptre exceeded my expectations. Really easy to use. 'Plug and play' all I needed to do was fill it with eliquid, wait 5 minutes or so to prime the coil and I was ready to vape! Build quality is superb, it's weighty, full metal body and moulded plastic pod (tank) so no concerns about dropping it and breaking glass. Battery life is amazing. It lasts around 36 hours give or take. At the beginning of changing from smoking to vaping you vape quite heavily to mimic having a smoke and the battery life held well. Charging time is great, I haven't timed it properly but it's around the 2 hour mark. You can vape whilst charging so no need to worry about chewing your nails if you are gasping! It shouldn't let the battery drain out completely. I have accidentally and it takes a long time to charge then. I have mine set to mouth to LUNG (MTL) so I can't comment on how much vapour it produces if you like direct to lung (DTL) but it produces around the same amount of vapour in MTL as a roll up so it's a good mimic. You get 2 coils, a sub ohm coil for DTL and a coil for MTL. The coils and pods are very reasonably priced and I got around 3 weeks out of my first coil. A pack of 5 coils costs around €10 and I think a pod cost around €8-10 if I remember correctly, so it's very cost effective. You don't need a second pod but if you want to change flavours a lot then a second pod is helpful. Maintenance is very easy. You don't need to do anything with the machine itself bar charging it, you should clean the pod out though. I've only needed to do it once in 6 weeks and it's really easy, just remove the coil by twisting the bottom, rinse it well, run a TINY amount of soapy water in the tank (I used Fairy) and rinse WELL then leave it to dry fully. A few droplets of eliquid can get caught in the mouth piece so I just twirl a bit of toilet paper around push it into the mouthpiece. Sometimes you can get a bit of a gurgle especially after refilling the pod, I'm not sure if it is a bit of water vapour or eliquid, if that happens just hold the pod onto the machine and flick your wrist. That's enough to get rid of the little bit of liquid. It does look pretty! It's a pale pink with a kind of shimmery part at the top. It doesn't get dirty or show up fingerprints. A quick wipe with a microfibre cloth and it looks as good as new! The only negative that I can think off is that there's no way to replace the battery once it stops charging. I've read that they batteries last well over a year so at this price point that's superb. The service itself was amazing. I had received my parcel within 24 hours. Ordering is easy. I've ordered 3 times now and it's been perfect every time. George seems to be the person I deal with and he's great and always adds a nice little note! Sorry for the long winded review but it's worth mentioning all the positives!

I bought the Sceptre as a replacement for my Podin because the quality of the Podin is not very good. So after the second Podin I decide to give Innokin a try and now I have the Sceptre and what should I say...it‘s perfect. The Battery last very long, it‘s heavy so if anyone try to harm you you can use it as a weapon (just kidding). The taste is very nice and the vape production is more than enough. I like the design, silver/blue and the feeling of it. Hopefully Irish Juice offer the coils very soon to be the perfect Vape device for outdoors. Hope that it last very long this time.
